Oh, my …

 Joseph Epstein: The Poetic Justice of April 1 - WSJ.com. (Hat tip, Dave Lull.)

 There are still plenty of people who read contemporary poetry and it is good that  many people try to write it. It may become a social requirement, as it once was in China and Japan. Leave to posterity to sift it for nuggets. I also wonder how many people had lines of Wallace Stevens bouncing about in their heads when Stevens was alive and well and writing his poems.
