  1. Frank, I do wonder about the credibility of the contributor posting the 7 Horror Books, a person who admitted having never heard about Turn of the Screw by Henry James. Perhaps the credibility of the recommendations suffers in light of that admission.

  2. I wasn't too impressed by the list, either, though the scariest reading I remember is two stories: Algernon Blackwood's "The Willows" and William Hope Hidgson's "A Voice in the Night".
