Hard to imagine today, but there was once a charming and commanding conservative presence at the center of American culture. It is an indictment of the media that to the degree that conservative views are aired these days, they are largely restricted to roped off areas on cable television or talk radio. Remember, the bulk of the “Firing Line” run was on PBS.
