  1. This points to one of the problems I have seen in S/F over the years: the potential for good story-telling subordinated to left-leaning political/social/ecological activism. Margaret Atwood is an example.
    I keep my radar tuned for conservative and objective S/F writers, but they are becoming as scarce as hen's teeth.

  2. Tim, thre *are* more and more conservative and objective S/F writers doing cli-fi now, including Sally Fernandez new novel titled "Climatized" which follows Michael Chricton's lead in State of Fear (2004) in putting climate alarmists in their place. Google her book at Amazon to see details.
