Prufrock's centenary …

It is only mentioned in passing here, but I have always been fond of Preludes. It awakened me to the poetry of the city.

    I remember my surprise, probably 25 years ago, at hearing Preludes read out on NPR. I don't remember that the station gave any reason for this, and certainly I didn't inquire.
