Obesity, diabetes, and pre-existing lung diseases seem to increase the risk for bad outcomes from COVID19. Now, it is hard to get intense exercise in if one is obese or can't breathe well, and in many cases diabetes is associated with weight problems. I suspect that the manner of life associated with regular exercise has as much to do with resistance as last week's workouts.
