  1. I didn't look at the NYT article, but you may have 2 terrible assessments going on here. The Guest Blogger one is just silly, or do I mean tragic, or do I mean just someone looking to be prideful, where very little exists in comparison to the rest of the world. It's a case of trying to make sense from within a population of people in danger -- like here in the USA -- think of the bright side -- anyone guest blogger know a bright side? It's an automatic overall tragic fail.

Here's a map to consider: Complexity Science Hub: Corona Traffic Light. A green country means that in the last 14 days, there have been less than 1 positive test per 10,000 inhabitants. Green countries include all the closest countries to Sweden on the map. Scandinavia has a green sweep -- oops, except for sore-thumbed Sweden. Yellow: proceed into the country with caution, means the country has less than 10 new cases per 10,000 inhabitants, in the last 14 days.

Sweden is red, a "don't go there" country. Red means 10 or more new cases per 10,000 inhabitants in the last 2 weeks. Red cannot be escaped with excuses and examples. It's just terrible.

The closest other red country to Sweden is Kazakhstan in Central Asia, far far away from otherwise green Scandinavia. Armenia's failing their people too, like us, like Sweden.
