I’m not saying anything here about how effective the vaccines are. What I’m saying is that this administration, and the many media outlets that are catering to it, and not being truthful.

ReplyDeleteThe truth is that nothing is 100%. You are far less likely to catch the virus if you are vaccinated. You are far more likely to be asymptomatic, and far less likely to be contagious, if vaccinated. And the best news, is that you are far far less likely to die if you are vaccinated. People suffering and dying from Covid-19 now are over 99%, the unvaccinated. As Phil Valentine's family is now saying, "Get vaccinated, Frank!"
I prefer to make decisions regarding my own life on my own. How peculiar of me. But having once worked in the federal government (I have had an unusually wide range of experience — experientia docet, as they say] I am not especially inclined to place my faith in bureaucrats.
