He did denounce Hitler, however, early and often, and seems to have been opposed to racism. And he seems to have considered himself a Zionist. Still, there is some pretty embarrassing stuff that he wrote.
Interesting, and depressing. It is understandable that Frank Sheed should have wished to censor an essay; but the better and more candid course would have been to omit it altogether.
