Hmm…

 … “Thou shalt not murder"

  1. That's a problem with murderous anti-abortionists, that they not only think that abortion is murder, but furthermore, that murder is okay for them to do. "Thou shalt not kill" means "THOU shalt not kill" or that "You shall not kill (either)." So theoretically, the anti-abortionist murderer and the abortion doctor would be going to hell in a hand basket, but especially the anti-abortionist, who most definitely knew better, understanding the God-sent specifics of what constitutes murder.

The other issue is that unless a doctor who is performing abortions is a sociopath, then that doctor would not think of the abortions that he or she is performing as murder, nor would the mother, unless she were sociopathic.

Leaping into Catholicism, What Did St. Thomas Aquinas Believe about “Ensoulment?” This sainted church leader well into the 13th century took Aristotle's side of the debate that was ongoing in the church, to say that ensoulment takes place at "formation", which is similar to today's secular debate about viability. Additionally, the vast majority of abortions take place before formation. And current anti-abortion state laws may serve to push an expectant mother beyond these significant stages in her pregnancy to have an ensouled fetus aborted, by having her or her family arrange an abortion outside her state.
