The other thing this scenario made me think of, wanting to eaves drop from the next table, is the final essay my philosophy instructor at Rivier had us do. The old standard/stand by. Imagine Freud, Assagioli, Plato, and a couple others in the same room, what would they say to each other?
If you hear of Salman Rushdie, Russell Banks, or Charles Baxter coming to town, let me know. I'd love to attend a reading/lecture or have the opportunity to talk to them.
