    Well, yes, as I said on Petrona, it is short.
    I have nothing against Levi - he is good, I think.
    But best science book ever? No, surely not.

  2. I'm with you on this, Maxine. I mean there's not only Darwin, but Newton's Principia - and Copernicus. And are we going for readable or just significant or both?

    It's a great book, but the best science book EVER? Hmn. hard to justify that.

    There are so many more pure science books I'd nominate.

    Very high on the list would be:

    Benoit Mandlerbrot, The Fractal Geometry of Nature
