A couple of years ago ...


... I bought this orchid from my butcher, Sonny D'Angelo, who has a prize-winning collection. This is the first it has bloomed since I bought it. In fact, it's the first time I managed to get an orchid to bloom

    But this one is very beautiful. Georgia O'Keeffe would have been tempted to paint it. Perhaps Debbie will.

    Oh, very beautiful. I love orchids! I've had limited luck with them. next summer I'll take some pixs.
