If Bawer's book -- which I have read -- is Islamophobic, I'd like to know what sort of phobia threatening to blow up a Danish cartoonist (if not all of Denmark) falls under? To mention just one of hundreds -- THOUSANDS -- of possible examples.
I completely agree, Roger. As I hinted at in a recent post, I suspect an Islamist objection to Darwinism would be treated more deferentially than any Christian one. And if the Islamists come out against global warming, the order of the day, again, would be deference ... in the name of "tolerance." What it really would be is plain and simple cowardice.
