Sad news indeed ...

... Lucy Appleby (1920-2008).

I just had some Appleby's Cheshire this morning. Good God almighty, it is a marvelous cheese.

    God Bless Lucy. Their Cheshire is simply sublime. Worth the drive to Atlanta (from Florida) to keep it in my fridge. -Jeff
