It's instructive, I think, that Sullivan doesn't have a comment facility at his own Atlantic blog. He may like to 'write out loud' - I don't, hence my disenchantment with blogging - but where is the conversation he claims to embrace?
And there is nothing at all stopping a blogger from revising his posts. I used to do it all the time.
