Two reviews of live shows that cover the spectrum. I love Alanis; and, I can reveal that the creep for whom she wrote "You Oughtta Know" was, indeed, Dave Coulier. Dave Whoulier? The guy who played somebody or other on Full House — The Jack of Diamonds? (Remember, I never saw this show; so, I really don't know nor oughtta, gotta, wanna, neither. The kids are cute :).)
And, perhaps my favourite Symphony of all-time (Shostakovich's devastatingly gorgeous Eighth in C Minor) was one of the musical high-notes of the classical season in Cincinnati, OH! (Please not to miss the reference to this country's left-coast city.)
