Lovely to see THE Goddess recognised as a pioneer; and, also, to hear her thoughts on the medium. She gives everyone individual attention; doesn't give the impression she's pandering to hoi polloi; and, above all else, clearly enjoys what she's doing (an infectious fact which shows since her bloggadociotica positively glows).
One thing you probably noticed, Dave? Dr. Beard began blogging 25 April 2006 (and, since then, her blog has become one of the most wonderful in the world with, ISTM, the highest [and learnedest] readership), not to mention the most commentarians per post as well.
She really *is* a pioneer (and, IMO, makes the art of blogging exactly that, an art). Good to see her recognised for her contribution to both a solid cyber-college of knowledge as well as raising up a subject not often considered popular to heights impossible to imagine before she appeared on the scene.
She makes all of us look gooder, thank THE Goddess :)!
BTW, her newest is a scream; and, as much as I love Maureen Dowd, she sure can't hold a candle to Dr. MB, at least as far as I can see.
