Thanks, Judith, that is one pro and one anti (the Petrona look). I think its a male/female thing myself. The theme I actually want, and had for a time, is called "blue starry night", but the Typepad design had bugs in it so the blog did not display properly. I am hoping....
Now you are blogging with Frank, maybe you can persuade him to have a new look for Books, Inq. ;-)
Frank! Don't read beyond this word; just click on Books, Inq. and go back to the main page; see? I knew you would read beyond the word, "word." Now, go away :) . . .
Funny you mention that, Maxine, and thank you for up-bringing this subject, airing it publicly, so to speak. You and I both know Frank, a little, I think, right?
(FRANK! Nosey-parker! Shoo!)
Each time I see your new design, I sigh . . . Now, why can't we try something spectacunew, too? And, then? I remember why; and, nope, I've never broached the subject and I am glad you did; but, somehow, between you and me, Maxine, do you think Frank will agree to this earth-shattering suggestion? Somehow, given his proclivity for sticking with what he knows works, I think I already know what his answer will be:
Frank, if you're still reading, I'm so disappointed in you . . . We're gossipperating about blogs, okay; and, as dames are wont to do, we could easily segue into a discussion of mantihose (yeah, Maxine, can you believe they're all the rage in N.A. right now?) . . .
His answer? (Frank, admit it, you're grippingly holding onto to every phoneme, holding your breath, waiting for my verdict on your verdict, ain'tcha?)
