Really, Dear Friends, you have no idea how thrilling it is to read your greetings on this, my fifty-sixth birthday (which is a good number, considering it adds up to eleven and my birthdate's eleven/eleven); so, I posted a little thank-you note for you; but, Frank, your thoughtfulness here and elsewhere truly does mean the world to me; and, Dave? Did you know Erroll Garner could sign autographs with both hands at the same time, he was so amazing?
I love that clip and I'm grateful for your sharing of it with / for me; he looks so happy, just boppin' along, just lookin' like a million Buicks, lovin' what he's doin', not arrogantly, just joyously.
It takes a lot of people to make a Blog work, Lee; and, you've brought your share of fizz to us, too, especially because you, comme Maxine and Susan, were and are so welcoming and open to me. My three fave dames, IOW; thank each of you for making this so special for me. You have no idea . . .
Heh, New-Jersey Frank? You thought I forgot? Nope. For your twenty-five estimate, I'd crawl on my hands and needs down that famous turnpike pushing a peanut with my nose (if I were that age)! Don't matter; for a moment, I almost was, thanks to you; you're a peach; and, a plum, and the apple of my eye for the next twenty-five or so years, too! Thank YOU!
AND, in case my home-made thank-you post can't be read, here is what ol' fizzhead said:
Dear Frank, Dave, Frank, Lee, Maxine, and Susan . . . What can yours truly say Except that your kind words and wonderful thoughts really made a difference to me yesterday and today? IOW? I, too, "get a kick" out of all of you :). Thank you and God bless, Jf/ox
Happy Birthday, Judith.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Not a day over 25, surely.
ReplyDeleteYes, happy birthday, Judith! You have brought a real fizz to this blog. (But what's happened to Katie? She's missed.)
ReplyDeleteMany happy returns, Judith.
