Whoa, Degas!
Hrmm . . . Mebbe my Freudian slip was just the tip of the not-so-sliceberg, obvo; seems yesterday's bear is today's "spotty" bull market. What a racket! Guess this kinda art's outta our snack bracket: "A Degas gouache, Dancer in Repose, that was being sold by the financier Henry Kravis and his wife, Marie-Josée Kravis, was sought by two telephone bidders . . . $33 million, or $37 million including Sotheby’s fees."
