A Vindication of the Rights of Women

Charlotte Gray, an articulate and erudite Canadian biographer, historian, and critic: "Watch out, here comes Mary Wollstonecraft — brilliant, bright-eyed, and passionate." Yep, it's Saturday (and, we know that means another instalment in The Globe and Mail's series on Fifty Great Books). Gray, of course, doesn't fail to mention MWS's daughter, creator of a monster of another kind.

We've come a strong way, Baby!

p.s. While you're visiting the 'site, check out the BOOKS page, too; Toni Morrison, Joseph Boyden, Kate Atkinson, Peter C. Newman, Mary Henley Rubio, Michel Faber . . .
