More on Zizek ...

... Zizek and getting real about violence.

There's something else that might be added to this analysis. For, like Nietzsche, there is something deeply bourgeois in Zizek's love of revolutionary violence. He indulges his ideological fantasies because he is not essential enough: he refuses the essence of violence which is nihilism, not revolution.
