Communication is a two-way street. Each side has an obligation to be clear and to make an effort to understand. Neither side has an obligation to defer to the verbal quixotries of the other.
I clicked on the link and read the list. Following it would seem to allow me to converse with a Muslim, without offending, about such things as the weather and eyeglasses. Maybe the list should be expanded to an even dozen: 11) suicide 12) bomber. The list's explication of "jihadi" is the usual weaselly amelioration -- for which see Bruce Bawer's soon-to-be-published book, "Surrender: Appeasing Islam, Sacrificing Freedom." Oops, shouldn't say "freedom."
