This is a really interesting link, because I've been spending some time lately thinking about comments and their value. I generally delete only spam and obvious agenda-weighted messages (trolls, mostly, and there have been relatively few so far), but I do wonder how to evaluate all the rest, particularly for my fiction. If I were going to delete all comments that didn't engage technically or deeply in some way with my texts, I might as well disable them altogether. But a philosophy blog is of course a completely different matter. In my case, I will only engage privately over my fiction - and that rarely and with some care.
