Thanks for posting this one, Frank. This is another wonderful "list" of books-to-read from an eclectic group of individuals. If anyone has no idea about where to begin on a "personal reading list" of "must read" books, these titles recommended by Geller, Hamilton, Cartwright, Gunning, and--especially notable--James Wood are intoxicating suggestions. There are the canonical favorites, to be sure, but there are some surprises that deserve consideration.
