That's one of the better summations of the ideologies in play, as exemplified by the rush to make the world conform to one's own (childish?) desires. The points made about hyper-partisanship here are all good ones.
This quote says it all: "These jokers don’t worship God. They worship ideology."
Which to me also sums up why the neo-conservatives were never true conservatives. I could respect William F. Buckley, as a true conservative, even though I disagreed with 99 percent of the time. Perhaps it's petty of me, yet I felt vindicated by Buckley's denouncement of the Bush Administration as not actually conservative, near the end of his life. VERY interesting, that was.
