Am I correctly reading this? Does this initiative suggest the ultimate elimination of books-in-print as library resources? Does this also spell even more problems for publishers of print-only texts? And does this mean that "borrowing" instead becomes permanent possession? Hey, I'm all for sharing books, but maybe I am confused here. This sounds like something very different.
I find this press release depressing beyond words - no beyond jargon.
