Actually, in his essay "A Little Conserva-tive," Nock says: "when occasion required that I should label myself with reference to particular social theories or doctrines ... decent respect for accuracy led me to describe myself as an anarchist, an individualist, and a single-taxer." I also suspect that Nock would have regarded those "aristoi" that Jefferson refers to as precisely those most inclined to govern least.
