I find all sorts of things interesting. In fact, looking about for things I found interesting got me through one of the worst episodes of my life, seven days and nights in an emergency-care unit, after minor surgery was followed by major complications. Among the interesting things I noticed was that my previous healthy existence had left me totally unprepared psychologically for being really unwell. And that is when I discovered what a useful thing it was to find what is interesting in whatever I encounter. I found this interesting because it is just an unpretentious chronicle of someone and her interests, making no claims or effort to being more than that. I was charmed.
Thanks for the kind words, Frank. (And for some exposure!) I've never considered myself a writer and certainly not more than an amateur photographer, but I'm having a good time with blogging. If those who stumble across my work are "only" charmed, I'll consider myself a success. Cheers!
