We're back, and this aging man is tired. Probably no more blogging today. Debbie and I are both going to chill out. She will watch Downton Abbey, and I'm going to watch the new film version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Back tomorrow.
To my astonishment, having hated the book of Girl with an et cetera, I enjoyed that film. I suppose one advantage of moving from written word to moving image is that nasty violent bits in books are over more quickly on the screen and there is less opportunity to linger on the murky details.
