V tried very hard to not feel elitist, but was unsuccessful. He looked down upon his roomies, there were no two ways about it. It made him sad, but it was important that he not merge his discretion with theirs. His perception with theirs. His perspicacity with theirs, and there was a real danger of that happening if he didn't move out.
