Hmm …

… Why Is There Anything At All? It’s Simple | First Things. (Hat tip, Dave Lull.)

I fail to see why there is necessarily a conflict between classical theism and personalist theism. The most immediate experience we have is of our personhood. It seems reasonable to infer from this that whatever the ultimate source of being may be it must be personal. One could argue that one is a person by virtue of participating in the personhood of that ultimate source of being.  If that be so, I don't see why one could not proceed from that to understand the ultimate source of being as the classical theists do.

    There is no person! There is no person being from whom anyone is to be derived from. This would be true even if there were a valid argument for conjuring any theism.
