There are no proofs of God's existence. There are also no proofs of one's own, either. People have, however, had experiences of what has seemed to them to them to be a personal transcendent. And experience trumps all theories — and proofs to the contrary.
His disdain for William Carlos Williams leads one to suspect he never read "Of Asphodel, That Greeny Flower."
His debunking of supply-side economics would be more impressive if he had also figured out how to debunk democratic socialism as well.
That said, still an interesting figure.
