As I have noted elsewhere, I have misgivings about the publication of such a journal. I doubt that Flannery O'Connor would have approved. Her faith was intense and personal. She preferred to let her faith speak out through her fiction. I wonder if we as readers--notwithstanding the decision of Ms. O'Connor's estate--have any right to intrude upon her spiritual privacy.
