  1. Spoken like a true hack writer. The Pollack essay, which is an astonishing display of entitlement, is the declaration of a vulpine narcissist who would sell out his closest family member for a dinette set even as he squashes on the delicate butterfly making the literary world beautiful. We'll see where Pollack's at in five years, if he's allowed to crawl back to the "legacy" publishers. By all reports, Amazon editorial is rolling heads as we speak.
