The Nazi Occupation of Paris

I feel a special allegiance to this book and its author: Ron Rosbottom was my professor at Amherst and has been working for years to bring his history of the Nazi occupation to print. Now, it's out, and it's attracted considerable attention, including on NPR. Ron's a first-rate scholar, a tremendous intellect, and, most important, a kind, compassionate mentor. He knows European literature inside and out: to that, I can attest. Congratulations, Ron!
