Vikram, we (particularly in the western hemisphere) have the oddest reactions to terrorism: We react as a secular society to what radical Moslems see as a religious holy war. In other words, the responses are misguided, inappropriate, and inadequate -- all because of political correctness and secular liberal policies. Perhaps predominantly non-Christian societies are responding differently; I do not know enough about the other side of the world to comment. But there you have my too brief analysis of the west's impotent failures.
Yes I agree with you. There is a difference I think in the ways the West and East look at terror. In the east, it is seen too often as a way of life. You simply brush your hands and move on. The west I think looks at it more ideologically, asking the right questions at least.
