… Richard John Neuhaus, Warts and All | Christianity Today.

Neuhaus wrote a review for me, and I talked with him over the phone once. He sounded a lot like the no-nonsense priests I grew up with. The book he reviewed was Michael S. Rose's Goodbye! Good Men, which he said "provides additional evidence that the problems behind the headlines run deep and wide. Recognizing that and acting on that recognition will, please God, lead to a Church renewed in fidelity to what she teaches."
