  1. Ah, so this means Waiting for Godot is all about human wisdom? I wonder.

  2. I had not connected it to Beckett, but I see your point. I was surprised by it. I don't usually think of wisdom when I think of Dumas, whose books I loved when I was a kid. But this statement is wise. We wait for death and hope for the best.
