A Frost anniversary …

… Beyond Eastrod: Robert Frost on 20 January.

I remember Kennedy's inauguration quite vividly, and I remember Frost's reading. I also remember what I said to my mother when the President told us, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." I said to her, "Why ask either?"

  1. I remember my parents being very concerned about a Catholic going into the presidency; I did not understand and support their POV, which made me something of a heretic in my WASP household. My, haven't times changed!
