… Jordan Peterson’s Jungian best-seller is banal, superficial, and insidious – Catholic World Report. (Hat tip, Dave Lull.)
The author of this piece should read Fulton Sheen's Peace of Soul.Dave writes to say the author of the piece may have read Sheen's book. In another piece, he says that
“a goodly number of Catholics (following Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s tendentious distortions) thought Freud was one of the two great ideological enemies of the century—the other being, of course, Marx.”
I pointed out to Dave that, given the millions sacrificed to the Marxist utopia and the serious debunking that Freud's views have undergone in recent years, Sheen may have been on to something. And for DeVille to call Sheen tendentious is something of a hoot, given his own propensity in that direction.
Post bumped.
