Also, hopefully, there's more to come from the poetry "community", which has always been so supportive of inmates. Then there's the case of once you have done your time, have you paid your dues? Or would it have been better if the murderer were still in prison when getting his poetry published.
Then, certainly, there's the whole tragic issue of missing, raped , and/or murdered indigenous women. Is there anything more horrific? I suppose, in a world peppered with sociopaths, maybe equal. What does the world of poetry do with Ezra Pound, not that he pulled the trigger, and not that the Canadian poet equals him in literary contribution? The same thing the Football world does with OJ Simpson?
