  1. Sounds a bit libelous, in my opinion.

    Perhaps the gent wasn't trying to filch an egg. Perhaps he was simply climbing that tree to slap a few baby squirrels.

    Yeah, right ...

    We get them out here, too, though they're usually looking for chicks - hawks, eagles, kites - rather than eggs ...

    They're an expensive nuisance, when they get stuck, and have to be plucked off a cliff, somewehere ...

    But, we lose even more, when they succeed ... some species of raptor have become quite rare ...
