What they're reading in Guantanamo ...

... Maxine discovers that and more: Book bizarre.

I will take up the challenge of altered book titles later today, when things settle down a bit.

You know you'll knock spots off us all, Frank, so hope you make time for it. (As well as your headline talket, you are the one who always gets those Shameless riddles straight away.)

  3. I like talket, actually. I should point out, though, that while I have above my desk at work a first prize plaque for headline writing, I haven't actually ritten any since becoming book editor. That job is done by the copy desk. The prize-winning headline, by the way, was for the sequel to The Silence of the Lambs: Second helping.
As for the book title challenge, the only ones that have come to me so far seem rather lame - Yeast of Eden, presumably about some miraculous baking agent, and The Son Also Rises, about a wastrel heir who makes good in spite of himself.
