I should think that those who insist we try to understand our enemies might find this interesting - and probably not what they expected. (I confess to being in the Captain Ahab school on this subject: "I'd strike the sun if it insulted me, man.")

    I am alarmed that the Bloodthirsty Librarian confuses the Columbia U. philosopher John Dewey (who so influenced our local -- Phila.-- art collector, Mr. A. Barnes) with Melvil Dewey, the guy who came up with the Dewey Decimal System.

    That error makes me suspect every other thing Lars has to say because it, too, may be fundamentally flawed by a false premise!
