  1. I have, just recently, started working for a Home Health Care company.

    The first time I was summoned by a "walk-in" patient, it was to provide for him colostomy bags.

    I, not used to being confronted with something this...(tender and embarrassing?) ... tried to ask the appropriate questions regarding the equipment.

    The enderly gentlman answered my questions very levelly. I could only imagine the pain he must be suffering - the horror of it all.

    This poem sums it up wonderfully.

    It urges me to always try to be kind, discrete, thoughtful and respectful of all of our patients.

    This was personally eye opening, Frank. Thank you for sharing.
