Omigod -- How I cheered when the boys won! My 13-year-old son and I were jumping and whooping all over the kitchen.
They are such a fantastic bunch of guys this year, too: I love them all. They play as a team, not as egotistic individuals, and it's the teams that win the series.
I'd love to see a Red Sox/Phillies match-up. We might get our butts kicked, but it would be a blast to watch.
A sox/phillies line up would be tough--at least for our household. We live in Boston, but hubby is a Philly boy. With him rooting for Philly and me a die-hard Red Sox fan, well, them's fighting words.
Rub it in, why don't you? :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing how quickly one can become a Mets fan, Ed!
ReplyDeleteRed Sox/Phillies would make a great World Series.
ReplyDeleteActually, Rus, I told a colleague - a lifelong Red Sox fan - that it was going to be a Boston-Philly matchup in the Series. We'll see.
