In case you doubted ...

Newspapers don't get it, but paying more attention to poetry would be to their advantage. People who read poetry do not only read poetry. They read, period. And there is an immense number of such people. For a newspaper to acknowledge that would signal to those people that it was a publication worth taking seriously.
