Actually, it doesn't follow that, because going to church makes A happy, going to church will make B - or anyone else - happy. Another falsely converted proposition. In fact, people attend church because they think something connected with going to church is true. They don't think something connected with church is true because they attend church.
Also, having a want satisfied tends to give some degree of pleasure, which is attendant to happiness. So, one should be happy to the extent that the desire for truth is satisfied, if truth is what one wants, and even if the truth in question is not of itself conducive to happiness.
